Capriccio, for Flute, Violin and Piano

The Capriccio for flute, violin and piano was written in October and November 2016.

Its duration is about 9/10 minutes long.

It is fast and wild with a slower, more thoughtful middle section, ending with the hurricane from the beginning.

It is completely tonal and melodic, but I feel its main feature is the intense rhythmic drive throughout the fast outer sections, which hopefully will give much adrenaline and excitement to both players and listeners.

There are plans for it to be played sometime in 2017, so as its new life progresses, I will post  updates and any recordings in due course.
