Ballade for Flute, Violin and Piano

The Ballade for flute, violin and piano was written in December 2015.
It was written for, and dedicated to, Gary Woolf (flute), Matthias Reuland (violin) and Sebastian Kurz (piano).
It is about 11 minutes long and rather ethereal and mysterious in character. It is quite unlike anything I have ever written before!
The music is still very much tonal, with melodies and standard harmony, however there are many dissonances throughout, giving it that “outer space” sound I feel it has at times.
